Study on Biodegradation Characteristics of Industrial Phenol-Containing Wastewater by Biological Co-Metabolism Technology

Biological co-metabolism is an economical and efficient technique for treating refractory organic matter, in recent years, it has been widely used the treatment of chlorophenol-containing wastewater. It found that many conditions affect bio efficiency, such as carbon source type, content, microorganism types, environmental factors. The concentration experiment showed when dosage ratio sodium acetate to black aniline powder was 1:2, degradation rate 82%, removal 92.9%. When tetrachlorophenol increased from 210 mg/L 2100 mg/L, effluent, microorganism's activity inhibited. Besides, sedimentation performance activated sludge also damaged. temperature test removed 4-chlorophenol high at 35 °C, apparent residue effluent could be detected 20 °C. Therefore, by appropriately controlling external operating reactor, chlorophenols can achieved.
